Founded by Wendy Sperry at Fanshawe College’s School of Design in 2021. It grew out of a sustainability course and launched to mark the 100th anniversary of the Remembrance poppy in Canada, 1921 to 2021. It’s an educational collaboration between Fanshawe College, the Royal Canadian Legion, and schools across Canada, under Fanshawe’s Military Connected Campus initiative.
